Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into chunks
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- ½ teaspoon ground ginger
- ⅔ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes, orto taste
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil, or to taste
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Stir brown sugar, ginger, soy sauce and red pepper flakes together in a bowl to dissolvesugar into the liquid.
- In a small bowl add water and cornstarch together; stir with a whisk until cornstarch dissolves completely.
- Heat the oil in a skillet pan on high heat. Fry the chicken and onion in hot oil till the chicken turns pink in the center and the onion becomes soft.
- Now add the broccoli along with the chicken and onions and stir them together. Saute until the broccoli is heated through, about 5 minutes. Push the chicken and vegetable mixture to the side of the skillet pan.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture into the free part of the pan. Stir the cornstarch slurry into the soy sauce mixture until the color is even.
- Move the chicken and vegetables back into the center of the pan; saute until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables, about 5 minutes more. Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry is ready. You can serve it with rice.
